Lexus has launched the ES 300h entry level sedan model in India in two variants – Exquisite and Luxury. The sedan is powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor which generates a total power of 218hp and 220Nm, paired to a 6-speed eCVT. The ES has also introduced safety features like ten airbags, ABS with EBD, hill-start assist and anti-theft system. Lexus has made the ES 300h available in six colours and the car competes with the Volvo S90 and BMW 5 Series. The 2020 ES 300h Exquisite price starts from Rs 51.90 lakh, while the Luxury variant is available at Rs 56.95 lakh, ex-showroom.

    The ES300h comes with automatic LED headlamps with DRLs, LED tail lamps, sunroof and 18-inch alloys. The sedan measures 4975mm in length, 1865mm in width, 1445mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2870mm.

    The ES 300h gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 10 speakers, three-zone air conditioner and an electric parking brake with brake hold function. There is also rear seat reclining function, cruise control and rain-sensing wipers.

    The ES 300h gets a petrol-electric hybrid powertrain with a fuel tank capacity of 50 litres. The manufacturer has not revealed the fuel economy number.
