The tenth generation model of the Honda Civic is on sale in the country in two engine options. While the 1.8-litre petrol engine is good for producing a maximum power output of 141 bhp, the 1.6-litre diesel engine makes out 120 bhp. In terms of safety, the new Honda Civic gets some interesting and segment first features like lane watch camera, handling assist, smart key and lots more. The new 2019 Honda Civic has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs 17.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The luxury sedan challenges the likes of Toyota Corolla Altis, Hyundai Elantra and Skoda Octavia in the segment.

The new 2019 Honda Civic gets some segment first safety features that give it an edge over the competition. The car comes with a lane watch camera that projects the feed of the blind spot on the central display when the driver turns ON the left side indicator. With that being said, the new Civic is the most fuel efficient car in its segment when it comes to the diesel version.
