Royal Enfield’s most coveted motorsport event — Continental GT Cup — returns for the fifth season in November later this year. The inaugural season of the bike racing championship was held in November 2021 and marked the beginning of a new chapter of motorsports for the Chennai-based bikemaker.
The company has announced registrations for the upcoming edition of the Continental GT Cup. Interested participants can register themselves through the company’s official website. This year, the competition has expanded to eight cities, up from four last year. Zonal selection rounds will be held in Chennai, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Pune along with the newly added Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Bengaluru.
The prime objective of the zonal round is to find the best amateur talent. The only criteria for selection is a valid driving license. At each location, shortlisted riders will get two days of track experience — Day 1 for training with expert trainers from Royal Enfield Track School and Day 2 for selections based on lap times of each rider.

2025 Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup details
In the upcoming season, Royal Enfield will carry forward its thrilling ‘Pro-Am’ series format, bringing together amateur and professional riders on the same grid for an adrenaline-filled racing spectacle. The ‘Twin Power Trophy’ also makes a return, pairing each professional with an amateur rider to form dynamic teams.
This structure offers newcomers a valuable chance to learn directly from seasoned racers. While individual accolades such as podium finishes and titles remain in place, the team-based approach introduces a distinctive element of mentorship — fostering skill development through real-time collaboration, guidance, and shared on-track experience.
Royal Enfield will shortlist 64 amateur riders through eight zonal rounds, selecting the top 8 from each region. The GT Cup’s final selections for both amateur and professional categories will take place from July 3–6, 2025, at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. The event will see 64 amateur and 50 professional riders competing for a coveted spot on the final grid.
Ultimately, the 24 fastest riders—across both categories—will qualify for the main championship. The four-month racing spectacle will kick off in August 2025 and conclude in November, featuring eight races spread over three rounds. This year’s series will also run as part of the JK Tyre National Racing Championship. The final three rounds are scheduled for August, September and November.
