Lamborghini Urus: We thought of listing fast SUVs since the fastest one of them all, the Lamborghini Urus, has been launched in India at Rs 3 crore. It draws its power from a 4.0-litre V8 twin turbo engine paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. It produces maximum power output of 641 hp along with peak torque of 850 Nm. Thanks to these power figures, the Urus can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and can reach a top speed of 305 kmph.

Bentley Bentayga: Bentley Bentayga was launched in India in April 2016 at a price tag of Rs 3.85 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). It was back then claimed to the fastest, most powerful SUV in the world. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 engine that churns out a massive 600bhp and 900Nm, propelling it to 100kmph in only 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 301 km/h.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk: For starters, the Trackhawk shoots from 0-97 km/h in 3.5 seconds. That number can put many super cars to shame. Also , it is capable of a top speed of to 290 km/h, thanks to Dodge’s 707 hp, supercharged 6.2-litre, HEMI V8 from the Hellcat. Not exactly an engine expected in a family SUV, the torque figures are massive too – 874.5 Nm.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo: The Cayenne Turbo does the 0-100 km/h sprint in a blistering 4.1 seconds and is capable of a top speed of 283 km/h. It comes in two trims – a single-turbo 3.0-liter V6 and the Cayenne S with a twin-turbo 2.9-litre V6. The single charged Cayenne makes about 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, while the twin turbo version produces 440 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio: With a 2.9-litre twin turbo V8 producing 503 bhp under the bonnet, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio does 0-100 km/h 3.8 seconds and a top speed 282 km/h.

Porsche Macan Turbo Performance Pack: Porsche Macan Turbo is powered by a 3.6-litre, twin-turbo, V6 unit that generates a 438 hp of max power 600 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed PDK, dual-clutch, automatic transmission that propel the Macan Turbo to 100 km/h from standstill in 4.4 seconds. This figure is more than the standard Macan and it also has a top speed of 272 km/h.
