There’s a little known workshop based out of Australia, that has exactly what you need meet the Carberry Double Barrell 1000cc. The bike is on sale in India now for a rather understandable Rs 7.35 lakh. Which makes it an interesting proposition.

The Double Barrel is powered by a 1000cc carburetter engine that produces 52.2 hp of power and 82 Nm of torque and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox with a 7-plate clutch. The Carberry's carburetter engine meets BSIV emission norms and it is expected that a fuel injected version too may be launched it the future. The Double Barrel also features ABS.

Now the Carberry has been popping up on the internet, multiple times over the past few months. And we know it can be really fast. And this is exactly the kind of motorcycle that would appeal to Bulleteers, whose sights are set on long distances. However, what remains to be seen is how reliable the Carberry really is. Considering that Carberry will not be setting up service stations in the country.

The engines and motorcycles will be built in Durg, Chattisgarh near Bhillai, where Carberry has a facility for over a year now. Each motorcycle will be built in assembly line format with one technician to one motorcycle at a time, the company plans to manufacture 100 bikes by the end of next year. However, most of the sales will be targeted at overseas buyers.
