All lighting on the Hector is LED, including the indicators. While the lower spec variants of the MG Hector will come with steel wheels, the higher trims will be offered with more stylish machine cut alloy wheels. It offers a large boot space of 587 litres.

MG Hector will get a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that makes 142 bhp and 250 No of torque, and a 2.0-litre turbocharged Diesel engine that puts out 169 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. It gets a DCT transmission.

The cabin of the MG Hector gets a premium finish with the highlight being massive 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and is powered by the i-Smart interface. The Hector will feature Internet connectivity which will allow 50+ over the air (OTA) updates and several other smartphone like features.

Besides the Internet connectivity, MG Hector also features voice assistant that can be activated by saying "Hello MG". The rear passengers get their own air-conditioning vents and the rear seats are reclining as well. The Hector gets a panoramic sunroof.

In terms of safety, MG Hector features a first-in-segment 360 degree camera, and front parking sensors. Other features include heated ORVMs, powered tailgate, and 8-colour ambient lighting. Select petrol variants will get 48V mild hybrid technology, reducing emissions by up to 12%.
