Hyundai have announced that they will launch the new Verna on the 22nd of August. They've spent more than a thousand crores developing it and have equipped it with some class leading features. Now Hyundai have a lot riding on this sedan, considering that the Verna has been at the epicentre of the company's success in india having sold almost 3 lakh vehicles since it’s launch.

The new Hyundai Verna gets a whole host of class leading features like rear curtain, Hands Free boot-lid, front ventilated seats & Eco coating. Not to mention the fact that it has grown 65mm in length and now has a 480l boot. This means that the new Verna will also get more legroom and headroom in the backseat.

The new Verna is built on the new K2 platform; 50% of the chassis is made from high-strength steel. This will help improve straight line stability as well as exponentially increase the handling characteristics. Hyundai have even worked on the suspension mounts to improve the NVH even under Indian road conditions.

The Verna's design is based on Hyundai's fluidic sculpture 2.0 design philosophy has a whole lot in the form of cosmetic changes.It gets large single piece grill in the front, sharper lines on the headlamp cluster and LED DRLs and projector headlamps.

The interior on the new Verna get a whole host of features that are appearing in the segment for the first time like rear curtain, HandsFree boot-lid, front ventilated seats & Eco coating that reduces odor. It also gets a 7-inch touchscreen system on the higher variants that will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with dual airbags and ABS as standard in almost all trims
