Royal Enfield motorcycles have long served as a canvas for custom builders to apply their creativity. The one we're featuring today is not just an aesthetic modification, but a complete transformation of a Royal Enfield Bullet 500. Or, should we say two of them? (Photo: Pipeburn)

Hazan Motorworks 'Musket II' is mounted with a 1000cc V-Twin engine that was machined together using two 500cc engines from two Bullet 500s. The man behind the job, Max Hazan, is a well respected customiser who's run his magic over this Royal Enfield which now makes 55 hp. (Photo: Pipeburn)

Hazan is most particularly impressed with his handiwork of a the shift/clutch linkage. The modified Royal Enfield has a foot clutch, the left footpeg rotates to double as the kickstand and gearshifts are done by hand. (Photo: Pipeburn)

If clutch and jockey shift lever raised your eyebrows, the brake levers will make jaws drop. Both front and rear brake levers are on the right-hand side and are foot operated. So, essentially both brakes are applied at the same time or you could shift your foot over to the right a bit to only apply the rear one. (Photo: Pipeburn)

The Royal Enfield Musket II's frame is built out of chromoly steel. It may sound like it would've made it heavy, but the motorcycle only weighs 175 kg (dry). It gets a stunning hand-built aluminium fuel tank and the seat is equally beautiful. (Photo: Pipeburn)

The custom built Royal Enfield has an incredible Excelsior rear tyre and at the front, there's 40-spoke 19" rim. The Musket II sounds a bit crazy with no levers on the handlebars, Max Hazan says that ride it for five minutes and it feels natural. (Photo: Pipeburn)
