VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Statiq, an EV charging solutions provider, to accelerate the adoption of Eicher’s broad range of electric vehicles, particularly the newly launched Eicher Pro X range of Small Commercial Vehicles.

This collaboration will offer an accessible charging experience to Eicher trucks and bus customers in India. Statiq will extend access to its growing network of over 8,000 charging points from leading CPOs on it’s aggregated platform across the country, making charging simpler, faster, and more efficient for Eicher customers.

VECV, Statiq partnership

Under terms of this partnership, Statiq will also become one of VECV’s preferred partners for the supply and installation of AC and DC chargers, ensuring a reliable and hassle-free charging experience for Eicher EV Truck and Bus users. Leveraging this alliance, the two companies will integrate Statiq’s extensive network with My Eicher app, an industry-first connected fleet management solution.

This integration will empower users with real-time visibility of charging stations, intelligent navigation assistance and tariff transparency. To further drive EV adoption, both companies will also introduce promotional offers and preferential tariffs for Eicher truck and bus operators.

Abhishek Chaudhary, SVP, Sales & Marketing, Small Commercial Vehicles, VECV, said, “Our partnership with Statiq marks a significant step forward in strengthening the EV ecosystem for commercial transportation in India. By offering an integrated solution to customers through the industry leading MyEicher App, we aim to deliver a hassle-free and reliable experience to our customers. This collaboration will also empower Eicher Pro X electric customers with enhanced convenience, confidence, and operational efficiency, accelerating the shift towards sustainable transportation.”

Speaking about the collaboration, Akshit Bansal, CEO & Founder, Statiq, said, “Our partnership with VE Commercial Vehicles is a milestone in our journey to create a strong and efficient EV charging ecosystem for commercial vehicles in India. By integrating our expansive charging network with VECV’s MyEicher, we aim to provide users with a seamless, tech-driven charging experience that removes barriers to EV adoption. With this initiative, we are committed to enabling a smoother, faster transition to electric mobility for commercial vehicle operators.”

To further enhance the user experience, VECV and Statiq will jointly build a robust support ecosystem, comprising call centre access, service ticket management, troubleshooting, repairs, and ongoing maintenance services to ensure uninterrupted vehicle operations. A dedicated Point of Contact (POC) system will also be implemented under shared responsibility. Statiq will also map and highlight charging hubs with sufficient infrastructure and parking space on My Eicher, catering to customers across all product segments.

The partnership also aims to strengthen India’s EV ecosystem by executing turnkey projects covering installation, operations, and maintenance of charging stations. Further, shared infrastructure, mobile charging options, and revenue-sharing models for channel partners hosting charging stations at their premises will be introduced.
