TVS
In second is the Hosur-based motorcycle manufacturer, TVS, with the iQube electric scooter. In October 2023, TVS sold 15,603 units of the iQube as compared to 15,584 units sold in September 2023, recording a marginal MoM growth of 0.1 percent.
Bajaj
Bajaj comes in third, with the Chetak, the manufacturer’s only all-electric offering at the moment. Bajaj sold 8,430 units of the Chetak in October 2023, registering an MoM growth of 18.7 percent. In comparison, Bajaj sold 7,097 units of the Chetak in September 2023.
Ather
Ather, one of the most successful EV startups, takes fourth place in the list of top 5 best-selling electric scooters, having sold 8,027 units last month. The Bangalore-based startup registered an MoM growth of 12.2 percent, having sold 7,151 units in September 2023.
Greaves
Completing the top 5 list of best-selling electric scooters in October 2023 is Greaves Electric, having sold 4,019 units last month. In comparison, the company sold 3,612 units in September this year, registering an MoM growth of 11.2 percent in October 2023.
