Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd is going to launch its first all-electric scooter in India. The e-Access officially broke the cover at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and will hit the showrooms in June. The electric scooter will be manufactured at the Gurugram plant in Haryana. According to reports, the first batch of the e-Access has already been dispatched to selected showrooms and will be available at the rest of the dealership in a phased manner across the country.Â
Suzuki e Access: Battery Specifications
The e-Access is powered by a 3.07 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery offering a claimed IDC range of 95 km with an energy consumption of 39 Wh/km. It gets a 4.1 kW electric motor producing 15 Nm torque, enabling a top speed of 71 kmph. The scooter features three drive modes: Eco, Ride A, and Ride B.
Suzuki e Access: Features
The eA-ccess comes equipped with quite a few features including keyless entry, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation with real-time traffic alerts, a USB charging port, a side-stand interlock system, and tip-over detection. The Suzuki electric scooter comes with all LED lights including headlight, tail light and indicators. It also comes with Auto Ready Cancel, which switches off the vehicle if it’s inactive for 5 minutes. Press the button on the keyless fob and the e-Access starts to beep and the indicators start to flash, which helps the rider locate it. The Suzuki scooter sports a colour LCD instrument cluster that reads out battery level indicator, ride modes, average energy consumption, distance to empty and odometer.
Suzuki e Access: Hardware
In terms of hardware, the e-Access gets telescopic front forks and a rear coil spring mono-shock. Braking hardware comprises a disc brake up front and a drum brake at the rear. The scooter rides on 12-inch front and rear wheels. It has a ground clearance of 160 mm and a seat height of 765 mm.
