Ola Roadster X deliveries kick off in Delhi

Ola Electric’s Roadster X comes in two variants, Roadster X and Roadster X+, with prices beginning from Rs 99,999.

Ola Electric began delivering its Roadster X motorcycle series in Delhi. The all-electric two-wheeler company is offering Rs 10,000 in benefits for the first 5,000 Roadster X buyers, including free Extended Warranty, MoveOS+, and Essential Care, as part of the Ride the Future campaign. The Roadster X Series boasts a mid-drive motor for enhanced performance and safety, and a chain-drive powertrain with an integrated MCU for efficient torque transfer, better acceleration, and extended range. It also introduces industry-first flat cables, improving packaging, reducing weight, and boosting thermal performance for greater durability and reliability.

Bhavish Aggarwal, Chairman and MD of Ola Electric, shared the company’s social media update announcing the start of Roadster X deliveries and test rides. Aggarwal said, “Scooters were just the beginning. The Roadster X is a bold leap marking our entry into the motorcycling segment. The Roadster X is designed, engineered, and built in India, for a generation that wants to ride the bike of the future. With deliveries starting today, the Roadster X would unlock the true potential of EVs in 2W category, accelerating EV adoption and penetration to #EndICEAge.”

Ola Roadster X: Specifications and Price

Ola Electric’s Roadster X is available in two main variants: the Roadster X and the Roadster X+. The standard Roadster X offers three battery options—2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh—all paired with a 7 kW electric motor producing 9.4 bhp. Depending on the battery, the top speed ranges up to 118 kmph, and the 0–40 kmph sprint is achieved in just 3.1 seconds. The 4.5 kWh variant delivers a claimed range of 252 km on a full charge.

The Roadster X+ steps up with either a 4.5 kWh or a larger 9.1 kWh battery, powered by an 11 kW motor generating 14.75 bhp. This version reaches a top speed of 125 kmph and accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.7 seconds. The 4.5 kWh X+ offers a 252 km range, while the flagship 9.1 kWh model, featuring the advanced 4680 Bharat Cell, boasts an impressive 501 km range per charge.

Pricing starts at Rs 99,999 for the 2.5kWh, Rs 1,09,999 for the 3.5kWh and Rs 1,24,999 for the 4.5kWh models. The Roadster X+ 4.5kWh costs Rs 1,29,999, while the Roadster X+ 9.1kWh (with 4680 Bharat Cell) costs Rs 1,99,999.

The Roadster X series is equipped with a first-in-segment patented brake-by-wire with single ABS and smart MoveOS 5, including advanced regeneration, cruise control, and reverse mode. Its IP67-certified battery system offers waterproofing and dust resistance, enhanced wire bonding, and a serviceable BMS for easy maintenance.
