Ultraviolette, the Bengaluru-based EV startup known for the F77 electric motorcycle has patented a new model, a street naked. The patent images have surfaced online and the motorcycle looks interesting with the few details visible in the image. The few details revealed in the image make it a product that we are waiting to see.
Ultraviolette electric bike — What details do we know?
While the image is a view from the top – a peculiar angle – the first thing that catches one’s eye is the flat handlebar. The F77 had clip-ons, giving the rider a committed position on the motorcycle, while the flat handlebar suggests that it will have slightly more relaxed ergonomics. The motorcycle also features knuckle guards, a single-piece seat, and split grab handles for the pillion.

Another interesting detail is the little beak in front of the headlight, suggesting a raised front fender – raising the all-important question – is this an adventure motorcycle? The concept that Ultraviolette showcased at EICMA? Looking at some of the details such as the seat, knuckle guards, handlebar, and beak, it all points to an adventure motorcycle from Ultraviolette!
The motorcycle will sport USD forks, a monoshock at the rear, 17-inch wheels, disc brakes at both ends, and a TFT instrument cluster. It will most likely retain the same battery pack options that offer a range of either 211km or 323km on a full charge, while being equipped with all the electronic nannies and features the F77 Mach 2 gets. When launched – hopefully later this year – it will be the first electric adventure motorcycle in the country.
