Mercedes-Benz G580 with EQ Technology: More details
The Mercedes-Benz launches G580 with EQ Technology features a familiar G-Class silhouette, but gets some unique EV touches. It makes sense for the carmaker to keep the design as close as possible to the iconic G-Class, and Mercedes has done exactly that. A big giveaway saying it’s an electric version is obviously the missing side exhaust pipes.
That said, powering the new electric G-Class is a 116Kwh battery pack with a claimed range of 479km. The performance numbers are impressive as well, as the carmaker claims that the electric G-Wagon can accelerate from 0–100kmph in 4.5 seconds, thanks to 579bhp and 1164Nm of power on tap. The G580 with EQ Technology gets all the bells and whistles to be a capable off-roader, including the ability to do 720-degree turns on the same spot.

Mercedes-Benz EQS 450: Specifications and features
The Mercedes-Benz EQS 450 will be the entry-level EQS on offer and powered by a 122kWh battery pack paired with two motors. The powertrain makes 365bhp and 800Nm of torque while it can return a range of 820km on a full charge. Mercedes also claims that the EQS 450 can sprint from 0–100kmph in six seconds.
In terms of features, the EQS 450 gets 21-inch wheels, three 17.7-inch displays, a 15-speaker Burmester audio system, and more, as expected for a top-spec Mercedes-Benz. Bookings for the EQS 450 is currently open and deliveries are set to commence from February 2025.
