Mahindra has unveiled the prices for its highly anticipated BE 6, at least for the top-tier variant. The midsize electric SUV is offered in three trims — Pack One, Pack Two, and Pack Three. Prices start at Rs 18.9 lakh (ex-showroom) for the entry-level variant, with the top variant priced at Rs 26.9 lakh (ex-showroom), excluding the home charger. Bookings for the top variant will begin on February 14, while those for the entry-level model will open later. Deliveries of the Pack Three trim are expected to begin in March 2025. Mahindra BE 6 vs Competition: Price Wars
Mahindra BE 6 is available in two battery options — 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The Indian SUV manufacturer has only revealed the starting variants prices for the BE 6 for both the battery packs. The 59 kWh Pack One version starts from Rs 18.9 lakh and the 79 kWh Pack Three is from Rs 26.9 lakh, all ex-showroom.
In comparison, the Tata Curvv EV is a more affordable option, but it also offers smaller battery options — 45 kWh and 55 kWh. The former range starts from Rs 17.49 lakh to Rs 19.29 lakh while the latter from Rs 19.25 lakh to Rs 21.99 lakh, ex-showroom.Â
The MG ZS EV comes in three variants — Executive, Excite Pro and 100YR Edition. It is available with a single 50.3 kWh battery and starts from Rs 18.98 lakh to Rs 24.74 lakh, ex-showroom.

Mahindra BE 6 vs Competition: Performance, Range
The new Mahindra BE 6 comes equipped with the largest battery packs in its segment, whether it’s the entry-level or the top variant. The base model features a 59 kWh battery delivering 228 bhp, while the higher-spec 79 kWh battery produces 277 bhp. Both variants generate 380 Nm of torque. According to ARAI ratings, the 59 kWh variant offers a range of 556 km, while the 79 kWh version extends that to 682 km.
In comparison, the Tata Curvv EV offers two battery options: a 45 kWh version producing 147.5 bhp and a 55 kWh variant delivering 165 bhp. Both trims generate 215 Nm of torque. Based on MIDC figures, the 55 kWh version offers a range of up to 502 km, while the 45 kWh variant delivers a range of up to 430 km.
The MG ZS EV, on the other hand, comes with a single 50.3 kWh battery pack that delivers 174 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. It offers a range of up to 461 km on a full charge.
