Iconic names have made a comeback in recent times, and the most-popular one is the Chetak. Now, another name is making a return — Luna. Kinetic Green confirmed plans of bringing back the Luna in an all-electric form last year, and the company will announce prices for the same tomorrow.
In terms of design, the E-Luna will sport a utilitarian design like the original one to offer the most practicality. Unlike most modern electric scooters, the Luna is expected to get halogen lighting all around instead of LEDs.
There is no news about the battery pack or motor specifications, but expect the E-Luna to be on par with its rivals in the segment with a range of around 100km on a full charge. Other notable features could consist of a digital speedometer with some sort of connectivity.
In terms of equipment, the Kinetic E-Luna will get telescopic forks, dual rear shocks, spoke wheels, and drum brakes at both ends instead of a disc brake setup. Since the launch is tomorrow, all the missing details will be known and expect the E-Luna to be priced well under a lakh.
