eBikeGo, under a licensing agreement with Acer, has announced plans to enter the Indian e-scooter market with the Acer MUVI 125 4G. This marks a significant stride for the Acer brand in the electric vehicle segment within India. During an official price unveiling event held in Hyderabad, it was announced that the ex-showroom price of the MUVI 125 4G vehicle shall be Rs 99,999.
The electric scooter has a top speed of 75kmph and a range of 80km on a full charge, making it ideal for various use-cases including commuters and B2B. The e-scooter features a swappable battery pack, 16-inch wheels, and offers customisability options.
Jade Zhou, VP, Global Strategic Alliances, Acer, expressed, “Sustainability and innovation are two important principles that the Acer brand is known for. The Acer MUVI 125 4G represents both and we are excited to see it coming to market shortly.”
Dr Irfan Khan, CEO, Think eBikeGo Private Limited (Acer – official licensee), added, “The Acer MUVI 125 4G represents our vision for a greener future. We believe it is set to become the preferred choice for urban commuters.”
The MUVI 125 4G is the first EV model to be launched under the Acer brand in India. Shortly, they plan to introduce multiple 2 and 3-wheeler EVs, such as e-bicycles, e-bikes, e-trikes, etc.
