JSW MG stole the spotlight at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 with the unveiling of its all-electric roadster, the Cyberster. Touted by the company as the fastest roadster in the world, its chassis has been expertly tuned by a former Formula 1 engineer. Here are five compelling reasons why the MG Cyberster deserves a spot in your garage.
MG Cyberster: Design
The Cyberster draws inspiration from the iconic 1960s MGB Roadster, preserving its retro charm with a low-slung silhouette and a long hood, all while incorporating sleek, modern aerodynamic lines. A standout feature is the striking scissor doors, evoking nostalgia for the golden age of supercars. To enhance the allure of this stunning convertible, it also boasts a retractable hardtop and impressive 20-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, connected LED tail lights with arrow-shaped indicators add a touch of modern flair.

MG Cyberster: Battery Specs and Range
The Cyberster gets a 77 kWh battery and manages to juice up from 10 – 80 per cent in 38 minutes with a fast DC charger. The roadster is available in two versions — single motor and dual motor. According to WLTP, the former offers a range of 507 km and the latter 443 km on a single charge.Â
MG Cyberster: Power and Performance
The single-motor variant of the Cyberster is a rear-wheel-drive roadster, producing 335 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 475 Nm of torque between 1,000 and 3,000 rpm. MG claims it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.2 seconds, with a top speed of 195 kmph.
The dual-motor version, an all-wheel-drive roadster, generates a combined 503 bhp and 725 Nm of torque. With impressive performance, it sprints from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 200 kmph.
MG Cyberster: Cabin and Features

The Cyberster’s cabin is more like a driver-focused cockpit, which has three digital instrument clusters with a 10.25-inch display in the middle with two 7-inch ones on the side. Even the centre console with all HVAC controls is in a touchscreen display. The Cyberster is packed with top-of-the-line equipment like an 8-speaker Bose sound system, 6-way power adjustable seats, 4-way adjustable steering wheel, leather interiors, two USB ports, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice command etc. The retractable roof takes only 15 seconds to open or close.
MG Cyberster: Safety
MG Motor has prioritized safety in the Cyberster, equipping it with an extensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This includes features such as lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, collision warning, and more. The vehicle also comes with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, a Traction Control System, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), a Blind-Spot Monitoring System, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, ensuring a comprehensive safety package.
MG Cyberster: Premium buying experience
The Cyberster will be the inaugural vehicle sold at MG’s premium retail outlet, MG Select, designed to provide customers with a more personalized and upscale experience. MG Select will focus on flagship models, including hybrid and electric vehicles. The company plans to open 12 dealerships nationwide this year to expand its premium presence.
