Tata Motors, Vertelo team up for EV commercial vehicles leasing

The partnership will provide tailored lease plans, lowering the initial ownership costs for electric commercial vehicles.

Tata Motors’ commercial vehicle division signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vertelo, an electric mobility solutions provider, to make electric commercial vehicles more accessible through flexible leasing options. This strategic partnership is aimed at supporting fleet operators across India in making a smooth transition to sustainable mobility.

Redefining leasing in EV commercial sector

According to the agreement, Vertelo will provide customised leasing solutions across Tata Motors’ entire electric commercial vehicle (EV) portfolio, which includes trucks, buses, and small commercial vehicles. These solutions are designed to reduce the upfront cost of ownership and encourage broader EV adoption among fleet operators and businesses.

Speaking on the collaboration, Rajesh Kaul, Vice President & Business Head – Trucks, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, said, “At Tata Motors, we are committed to making sustainable transportation accessible to all. This partnership with Vertelo aligns with our goal of accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in the commercial sector while strengthening the EV ecosystem in India.”

The company has also showcased advanced models such as the Tata Prima E.55S, Ultra E.12, and the Magna EV and Intercity EV buses.
