The Mumbai Police has sent an E-Challan to actor Varun Dhawan when found himself clicking a selfie with a fan, which violated traffic rules. Although he was not behind the wheels and was sitting on the co-passenger seat, he was challenged for not obeying the traffic rules in the business capital. The Mumbai Police tweeted and shared a picture of the actor with his fan taking a selfie who was sitting in an autorickshaw next to his car on a traffic signal. Moreover, Judwaa 2 actor was also seen not wearing a seat-belt.
The Mumbai Police Twitter that these adventures are good on screen and not on roads of Mumbai. He has not only risked his life, but also his fan’s as well as other fellow people on road. The tweet also states that an E-Challan has been sent to the actor’s home and from next, the police will be harsher. Varun Dhawan was quick enough to respond with an apology tweet saying that his car was not moving and was at the traffic signal, but he will be careful next time.

My apologies ???? Our cars weren’t moving since we were at a traffic signal and I didn’t want to hurt the sentiment of a fan but next time I’ll keep safety in mind and won’t encourage this. https://t.co/MEJk56EksG

Quite a galactic coincidence for the photographer to be on the same signal to capture your gesture, in a good intent nevertheless risky. Leaning out even in a stationary vehicle can be distracting for others considering your popularity. Glad you took our message in d right spirit https://t.co/jKqosfH6V3

Later tweets from twitterati poured in, some appreciating the Mumbai Police and some criticising such an act by the Bollywood star. It is nice to see how vigilant how Mumbai Police is and how the actor apologised. This is a message to other starts as well as citizens on road safety awareness and we request our reader to obey all traffic rules not only for your safety, but also for others.
