On the sidelines of the launch of the all-new EQA, Mercedes Benz has also introduced the updated EQB in India. In its updated form, the EQB is also available in a 5-seater derivative, along with the existing 7-seater variant. Both versions of the EQB offer different specifications.
Mercedes-Benz EQB 5-seater: What’s new?
The German marque is offering the 5-seater EQB in the AMG Line trim and hence it is priced at Rs 77.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The EQB 350 4Matic gets spruced up exterior and interiors over the standard model including all-black cabin theme with a sports steering wheel and sports seats. Features enhancements in this variant include ambient light, powered front-row seats with memory function, and a Level 2 ADAS suite comprising distronic active distance assist and active lane keep assist.
The exterior also features blacked-out elements such as spoke alloy wheels, side skirts, and roof rails. Further, the sealed-off gloss black panel at the front features illuminated star patterns.

As for powertrain specs, the EQB 350 AMG Line gets a smaller 66.5 kWh battery pack that offers a 447 km WLTP range. This version of the EQB is powered by a twin-motor, all-wheel drive setup, delivering a combined output of 288 bhp and 520 Nm of torque. The EQB 350 4Matic can sprint from 0-100kph in 6.2 seconds.
Mercedes-Benz EQB 7-seater: What’s new?
The 7-seater EQB 250+ is available in the Electric Art Line derivative. This version of the EQB benefits from features like two 10.25-inch displays— one for the touchscreen infotainment and the other for the infotainment— with latest-generation MBUX Gen 2 operating system, a 710W 12-speaker Burmester sound system, and head-up display.
Interestingly, the EQB 250+ gets a larger 70.5 kWh battery pack that claims a peak WLTP range of up to 535 km. Powering this variant is a single, front-mounted electric motor generating 188 bhp and 385 Nm torque. This version of the EQV is priced at Rs 70.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
