One can always expect cool vehicles from the US, especially if it has to do with the President. From the heavily armoured Cadillac ‘Beast’ to Air Force 1, they ooze with coolness and feature everything needed to protect the President of the US, even if it has to be from a land mine. So what happens when the President has to play golf?
Meet Golf Course 1, the armoured buggy the President was seen using during his recent visit to Scotland, when Trump decided to take time off to play golf. Trump took time off from his main purpose of his trip to the UK: to meet UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
While Trump teed off, there was a gathering of people who protested against his visit, with one holding a sign that read, “We don’t negotiate with fascists.” “We’re here together because we hate him.” One protestor did manage to get in, holding sign linking Trump to Jeffrey Epstein case.
Trump’s Golf Course 1
The armoured buddy was spotted when the US President was playing golf at Trump Turnberry course in South Ayrshire, Scotland. The convoy of golf carts had one menacing black buggy, and experts soon spotted the bulletproof reinforcement on the cart, which is based on a Polaris Ranger XP.
While the exact details of what has been changed have not been revealed, experts in the field say that the armoured Polaris ‘Golf Course 1’ has taken inspiration from the Beast, the US President’s car, which is a heavily armoured Cadillac.
Experts in the field say that the company responsible for building armoured vehicles for the President usually change every panel on the vehicle with armoured panels and makes them look as close as possible to the original bits.
Polaris Ranger XP

The Polaris Ranger is sold in different configurations in several markets and the four-door version used as the base for the Golf Course one seems to be one of the special edition models sold by Polaris. There is no way of finding out from the pictures, as the buggy has been completely blacked out, while the windows also feature a heavy tint.
In stock form, the Polaris Ranger XP is powered by a 1000cc, liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine that puts out 82bhp. It also features AWD and something called VersaTrac Turf Mode, making it a capable vehicle to tackle any terrain.
However, with the added weight in the form of armour, the Golf Course 1 could have lost some of those ponies, and there is no word if the engine and suspension have been modified to handle the extra weight. Whatever it is, it’s a cool getaway car if Trump has to make a quick getaway.
