Toyota Kirloskar Motor launched the 2025 updated version of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. A major update for the compact SUV is that the all-wheel-drive trim now comes with an automatic transmission. The new updated Hyryder lineup now starts from Rs 11.34 lakh, ex-showroom.
2025 Toyota Hyryder: What to expect?
Toyota has introduced a slew of features for the entire Hyryder lineup. Starting with safety, the Japanese automobile manufacturer offers six airbags as standard while the tyre pressure monitoring system is available from the mid-level variants. Toyota has improved the comfort level of the SUV with an 8-way adjustable power driver seat, a rear sunshade, new ambient lights and an Air Quality Index Display for the top trims. The Toyota SUV is further equipped with an updated speedometer, Type-C USB ports and LED spot and reading lamps.
2025 Toyota Hyryder: New AWD variant
Toyota has decided to add more convenience to the all-wheel-drive variant as it now offers a 6-speed automatic torque converter. Along with a new transmission, the new variant gets an electronic parking brake. The AWD drive continues to offer a 5-speed manual option and is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 101.6 bhp at 6000 rpm and 136.8 Nm at 4400 rpm.
