Toyota Land Cruiser launched at Rs 2.31 crore, bookings now open

Toyota launched the 2025 Land Cruiser 300 starting from Rs 2.31 crore, ex-showroom. The legendary off-roader is available in two variants — the ZX and GR-S. For the first time, the Indian market gets the more rugged and off-road-oriented GR-S version. Both the trims are directly imported from Japan and the bookings are now open. 

Toyota Land Cruiser GR-S: What’s new? 

The Land Cruiser GR-S gets a special all-black honeycomb front grille with a chrome strip and Toyota badging. It also features a small GR logo. The GR-S version gets sporty 20-inch alloy wheels and all-black window sills, outside rearview mirrors and door handles. 

The GR-S offers class-leading off-road capabilities like adaptive variable suspension, rear torque-sensing limited-slip differential and differential locks and improved shock absorbers.

Toyota Land Cruiser 300: Features

The LC 300 gets a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 4-zone climate control, rear passengers get an entertainment screen and a 14-speaker JBL sound system. 

When it comes to safety, the SUV gets 10 airbags, traction control, a 360-degree camera, crawl control with turn assist, downhill assist control, blind spot monitor and tyre pressure monitoring system. The Land Cruiser is equipped with an ADAS suite which offers features like a pre-collision system, lane tracing assist, lane departure alert, adaptive cruise control, adaptive high-beam system and automatic high beam.

Toyota Land Cruiser 300: Powertrain Specifications

Toyota continues to offer the Land Cruiser 300 with a 3.3-litre V6 diesel engine with 304 bhp at 4000 rpm and 700 Nm at 1600 – 2600 rpm. It is mated to a 10-speed automatic torque converter transmission. The Land Cruiser competes against the Mercedes Maybach GLS and the Range Rover.
