Toyota has launched a new limited edition Innova Hycross based on the petrol-powered GX trim in India. This new variant is priced between Rs 20.07 lakh and Rs 20.22 lakh (both ex-showroom), which makes it Rs 40,000 dearer than the standard model. For the premium price, the limited edition variant comes with exterior and interior cosmetic upgrades.

The limited edition of Innova Hycross GX gets subtle cosmetic upgrades like a new chrome garnish on the front grille running through the centre and faux skid plates on the front and rear bumpers. Buyers can also opt for a special Platinum White exterior paint by paying an additional Rs 9,500. That said, it still misses out on alloy wheels and bumper garnishes which are offered in the higher variants.

Updates inside the cabin are more significant than the exterior. Interiors of the Limited Edition Innova Hycross get a new soft-touch, chestnut brown finish upholstery for the dashboard and door trims, which otherwise gets a black plastic finish in the regular GX trim. Other enhancements include faux wood trim and dual-tone fabric seats. Like the regular GX variant, this limited run model comes in both– seven- and eight-seater layouts.

Powering Innova Hycross GX limited edition is the same 2.0-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine that kicks out 170 bhp and 205 Nm of peak torque. This motor is exclusively mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. It doesn’t get the more fuel efficient strong hybrid petrol engine. Reports further reveal that this limited-run variant will be available only till December or while stocks last.
