Toyota Hilux is the only other lifestyle pickup truck on sale in India besides Isuzu D-Max V-Cross. Not a huge seller in our country, the Hilux is known for its indestructible nature globally. The Japanese auto giant has now launched a special edition of the ladder-on-frame truck in India called the Hilux Black Edition, priced at Rs 37.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
With this update, Toyota is offering the Hilux in two variants: High and Black Edition, both priced identically. Deliveries of the Hilux are set to commence later this month. As expected, the Hilux Black Edition gets interior and exterior cosmetic updates over the standard model in line with its moniker.
Toyota Hilux Black Edition: Blacked-out exterior
The Hilux Black Edition boasts an all-new black-themed exterior, that exudes a commanding presence on the road. Key design upgrades include a striking black front radiator grille, a muscular bonnet line, and 18-inch black alloy wheels with custom hub caps. Additional styling elements, such as black ORVM covers, door handles, fender garnish, and fuel lid garnish, enhance its sleek and aggressive appeal.
A sporty Under Run on the front bumper further elevates its dynamic look. Completing the modern and premium design are sharp, swept-back LED headlights and LED rear combination lamps, creating a distinctive lighting signature. The all-black shade is the latest addition to the Hilux’s colour palette which currently comprises five options: Emotional Red, White Pearl Crystal shine, Silver Metallic, Super White and Grey Metallic.
The interior of the Hilux Black Edition is in sync with its exterior wrapped in a similar dark theme, although Toyota is yet to officially release the images of the cabin interiors to support the claim. The list of featured
