The Fortuner name needs no introduction. Besides its indomitable presence on the roads, people tend to forget that it is a beast off the road as well. The Fortuner’s more classy sibling — Legender — has gained a 4×4 drivetrain with a manual gearbox. Initially launched in 2021, the Ledger came only with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox sending power to the front wheels only.
Later, the Legender received the 4WD with the automatic gearbox and now it is available with a 6-speed manual transmission. This variant of the Legender is priced at Rs 46.36 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the second most expensive model in the entire Fortuner range. It is Rs 1.73 lakh more affordable than the 4×4 automatic variant.
