The Kia Syros isn’t just another compact SUV entering India’s highly competitive market—it’s a game-changer. Packed with segment-first features that blend practicality, convenience, and premium functionality, the Syros takes compact SUVs to new heights. Here are the standout, class-leading features that put the Syros on Cloud 9 in its segment.
Big, Bigger, Biggest Display: 30-inch set-up

We’ve all heard about the twin 12.3-inch screens, but Kia has taken things to a whole new level with the Syros. Introducing the class-leading 30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display—by far the largest in its segment. This impressive setup includes two 12.3-inch screens, one for the infotainment system and the other for the driver’s instrument cluster. But Kia didn’t stop there. They’ve cleverly added a 5-inch touch panel for climate control adjustments, plus physical buttons on the centre console for those who prefer a more tactile experience.
Rear Ventilated Seats
The Kia Syros stands out in its segment by offering rear ventilated seats, a feature typically reserved for higher-end models. In fact, even many midsize 5-seater SUVs don’t offer this luxury. The only other affordable SUVs with this feature are the Hyundai Alcazar and Tata Safari. To make it even more convenient, Kia has placed the ventilation control button on the door handles for easy access.Â
Multifaceted Rear Seats
The Syros comes with adjustable rear seats that can recline and slide according to one’s requirements. This is a masterstroke by Kia India as this feature is a first in this SUV segment, which is usually seen in MPVs. The seats split into 60:40 folding ratio, recline back further for more comfort and have a sliding function to increase the legroom for the passengers or increase the boot space. The Syros has a boot capacity of 465 litres.
6 Parking Sensors
That’s right. The top variant of the Kia Syros takes parking convenience to the next level with six parking sensors—far beyond the usual front and rear sensors. In fact, it’s the first mainstream vehicle to feature side parking sensors. These two extra sensors are cleverly positioned just below the front wheel arches, making parking easier and stress-free, even in tight spots.
Flush Door Handles

The flush door handles are seen in expensive vehicles, but Kia has broken the shackles and has introduced this feature in the Syros. The handles unlock by pressing the embedded touch button or simply using the key fob. It is the most affordable vehicle in the Indian market to offer this premium feature.
Over-The-Air (OTA) Updates
Kia has raised the bar with cutting-edge technology by bringing real-time diagnostics and Over-The-Air (OTA) updates to the Syros. That’s right—this is a segment-first feature. It allows service centres to deliver software updates to 22 different controllers in the vehicle, meaning Syros owners don’t have to visit the dealership for every update. It’s all done seamlessly from the comfort of your home, giving you one less thing to worry about.
Level 2 ADAS and Safety
Unlike its sibling, the Sonet, the Syros comes with a radar-based Level 2 advanced driver assistance system with 16 features. This includes autonomous driving aids like Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist, 360-degree camera with blind spot monitor and adaptive cruise control etc. The Syros is also equipped with 20 standard safety features, such as Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist control, six airbags, Vehicle Stability Management, Electric Parking Brake with Auto Hold and much more.
