Surprise, surprise. The most affordable vehicle with ventilated seats is Tata Motors’ Punch EV. Earlier, it was the Altroz Racer, but now Tata has scrapped this trim, and the updated version of this premium hatchback does not offer this feature. The Punch EV Empowered+ variant is the most budget-friendly vehicle in the Indian automobile market that comes with factory-fitted front ventilated seats at Rs 12.84 lakh, ex-showroom. The micro EV SUV offers this feature in 11 variants and offers top functions like an electronic parking brake, multiple drive modes—City, Sport, and Eco—all disc brakes, Hill Hold Control, and the top trim gets a 7.2 kW AC fast charger.

The Empowered range has two battery options—the 25 kWh and the 35 kWh. The former has a power output of 80.4 bhp and 114 Nm and a range of 265 km (MIDC). The larger battery makes 121 bhp and 190 Nm with a driving range of 365 km.

Kia Syros—Rs 13.30 to Rs 17.80 lakh

Kia Syros

The quirky-looking Syros is packed with more features than its more premium sibling, the Sonet, and yet it’s more affordable. The front ventilated seats are available in HTX, HTX Plus, and HTX Plus (O) variants starting from Rs 13.30 lakh onwards. It is the only vehicle to offer a ventilated function in both front and rear seats. These trims come with two engine options—the 1-litre turbo petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel. Unlike the Sonet, the Syros does not offer the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.

Skoda Kylaq—Rs 12.89 lakh to Rs 13.99 lakh

Skoda Kylaq

In a very short span, the subcompact SUV, the Kylaq, has become Skoda’s best-selling vehicle. The Kylaq is available predominantly in three variants—Classic, Signature, and Prestige. Only the Prestige trim is equipped with front ventilated seats. The SUV is only available with a single engine option—the 1-litre turbo petrol with an output of 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter transmission. The Prestige variant’s price starts from Rs 12.89 lakh, ex-showroom.

Maruti Suzuki XL6: Rs 13.31 lakh to Rs 14.71 lakh

The XL6 is the only MPV in our list to offer front ventilated seats within Rs 15 lakh. Its top version, the Alpha, comes in two options—Alpha Plus manual and Alpha Plus automatic—and starts from Rs 13.31 lakh, ex-showroom. The six-seater MPV offers independent seats, or captain seats, for the second-row passengers. It is powered by the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine, which makes 102 bhp and 139 Nm of torque. The MPV is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter.

Tata Nexon—Rs 13.39 lakh to Rs 15.40 lakh

Tata Nexon
The internal combustion range is from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 15.40 lakh, ex-showroom.

Tata Motors’ internal combustion engine-powered Nexon signs off our list. The SUV’s Fearless+ with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol and a 6-speed transmission is the cheapest in the lineup. The 1.5-litre diesel-powered Nexon only gets the front ventilated seats in the AMT version starting from Fearless + PS at Rs 14.70 lakh. Its flagship model is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and comes with this feature starting from the Fearless + PS variant at Rs 14.50 lakh. Nexon is the only CNG vehicle in the affordable range to offer front ventilated seats, and the Fearless + PS DT CNG is equipped with them at Rs 14.30 lakh, all ex-showroom.
