Tata Motors unveiled the Harrier EV in its full glory at the start of this year in Bharat Mobility Expo but it officially got launched only recently this month. Even then, the homegrown carmaker announced the price of only the entry-level variant of the electric SUV. Bookings for the all-electric Harrier are officially set to commence from 2 July 2025.
To be available in both single-motor and dual-motor setup, Tata Motors has now announced prices for the former. Prices for the single-motor, rear-wheel drive variants of Harrier EV start at Rs 21.49 lakh and go up to Rs 27.49 lakh (both ex-showroom). The Harrier EV RWD will be available in five trims (Personas) namely Adventure 65, Adventure S 65, Fearless+ 65, Fearless+ 75, and Empowered 75.

Do note, these prices don’t include the cost of a charger and its installation. Moreover, an optional AC Fast charger is available on a chargeable basis. Tata Motors will announce prices for the top-spec, all-wheel drive (AWD) variants of Harrier EV on June 27.
Tata Harrier EV: Battery, Motor & Charging details
The Harrier EV is set to be offered with two battery pack options — 65 kWh and 75 kWh. Tata claims that the larger 75 kWh battery delivers an impressive IDC-certified range of 622 km on a single charge. However, in real-world conditions, the range is expected to be around 480-500 km. The entry-level variants will feature a single rear-mounted electric motor producing 235 bhp (116 kW).

Higher-spec variants will be equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, with the front motor contributing an additional 156 bhp. While Tata has not yet disclosed the combined peak power output, combined peak torque is rated at 504 Nm. It has also been confirmed that the Harrier EV’s top speed is electronically limited to 180 kmph. The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds.
For charging, Tata offers two onboard AC options — 3.3 kW and 7.2 kW. The battery pack also supports up to 120 kW DC fast charging, capable of adding up to 250 km of range in just 15 minutes. The Harrier EV features six terrain modes: Normal, Grass/Snow, Mud/Gravel, Sand, Rock Crawl, and Custom. It also comes equipped with Boost Mode, Drift Mode, Off-road Assist, and cruise control that functions even at low speeds of 5 kmph.
