Tata Motors has added yet another feather to its hat. The company has announced that it has delivered the Curvv EV and Tiago EV to the Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s Office) in New Delhi. The units of the Tiago EV delivered were wrapped in the Teal Blue colour option whereas the Curvv EV came in the Dark Edition range.
The homegrown carmaker has confirmed this development through its various social media channels. Tata Motors also took the opportunity to reveal that the TATA.ev range is available on GeM(Government e Marketplace) for the government departments across the country. This essentially means that the product is listed and can be purchased by authorized government buyers through the official GeM portal.
A product being available on the GeM platform means it is approved and live for purchase by government agencies, under a transparent and standardized e-commerce system meant solely for public procurement. In the coming days, we will see many more Tata EVs procured by central and state government officials across the country.

Aligned with the Government’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Net Carbon Zero, all Tata.ev cars have achieved more than 50% MII (Make In India) content, thus, qualifying as a proud Class 1 supplier under the Public Procurement Policy. Tata Motors currently offers five fully-electric cars in its portfolio namely Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV, and Curvv EV. The company is gearing up to launch its sixth battery-powered vehicle in the form of the Harrier EV.
Tata.ev other developments
Tata has been developing a fully-electric Harrier for a long time, the production model of the same made its global debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year. Test mules of the electric mid-size SUV have been frequently spotted for the last couple of years. After years of development, Harrier EV may finally get launched next month.
