Skoda launches Kushaq, Slavia Sportline range: Specs, prices, features & more

To commemorate the 112th anniversary of its debut at Rallye Monte Carlo, Skoda has introduced the Sportline versions of  Kushaq and Slavia at Rs 14.70 Lakh and Rs 14.05 Lakh respectively. 

The first five thousand customers buying the Kushaq and Slavia Sportline and Monte Carlo editions will be able to avail benefits of Rs 30,000. The offer will be operational immediately and will be valid till September 6, 2024. The Sportline range adds to the existing Classic, Signature, Monte Carlo and Prestige variants of the Kushaq and Slavia. 

Skoda Kushaq, Slavia Sportline: Exterior 

Both the Sportline editions inherit the blacked-out design elements from the Monte Carlo edition like the taillights, aero kits and other specific details. While the Kushaq is equipped with R17 black alloy wheels, the Slavia possesses R16 alloy wheels. Both the cars also feature LED headlamps and DRLs.

To add on to the sporty aesthetics, the Sportline range has an electric sunroof, alloy foot pedals, a connectivity dongle, rain sensing wipers, and an auto-dimming internal rear-view mirror among many other features.

The Kushaq Sportline along with its twin, the Slavia Sportline has a full 5-star rating for adult and child safety under Global NCAP. The car also comes equipped with a minimum of six airbags. In comparison, the Superb and the Kodiaq are rated the same under Euro NCAP.

Skoda Kushaq, Slavia Sportline: Engine

Both the Sportline cars offer two engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol. The 1.0-litre engine delivers 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque along with a choice of 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter. Contrastingly, the 1.5-litre engine produces 147 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, and is available with options of a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
