Skoda Auto India announces it has secured 10,000 bookings of their sub-4 metre SUV, the Kylaq, within 10 days of the opening of bookings. Building on its success, Skoda Auto India will launch a nationwide ‘Dream Tour’ with the Kylaq, engaging with customers in key cities. Beginning at the Chakan plant, three Kylaq SUVs will be heading off on different routes over 43 days, travelling across the entire country.
Škoda Auto India: The India Dream Tour
Beginning on 13th December from the Chakan plant, three Škoda Kylaq SUVs head out on a nationwide tour, visiting nearly 70 cities across three routes. Each route will cover a different region, in distinct directions and return to the plant by 25th January. The West-South route will include Pune, Kolhapur, Panaji, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The West-North route will visit Mumbai, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Delhi. The third route will head East from Pune, covering cities like Nashik, Nagpur, and Kolkata, among others.
At each stop, there will be public displays allowing customers to experience the Škoda Kylaq up close. Visitors can explore its new Modern Solid design and other features before it officially arrives in dealerships by 27th January.

Škoda Kylaq: Powertrain and Features
The Kylaq is a 5-seater SUV that is powered by a 1.0 TSI engine that gives 114bhp and 178 Nm of torque and is available with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. It comes in four variants and seven colours. The Kylaq brings European technology to Indian roads, with its Modern, Bold, and Muscular designs. It offers cabin safety, featuring over 25 standard safety features, including six airbags and both active and passive safety systems. The Kylaq has been tested for over 800,000 km, which is farther than the distance to the moon and back.
Škoda Auto India has announced a special offer for the first 33,333 customers, who will receive a complimentary 3-year Standard Maintenance Package (SMP). This offer provides the lowest maintenance cost in the sub-4m SUV segment, at Rs 0.24/km for 5 years. The Kylaq Classic variant is sold out and no longer available for booking, but customers can register their interest and book it once the 33,333 bookings are completed.
