With the launch of the India 2.0 programme in 2021, Skoda has been able to revive its good old days when it entered the Indian market almost two decades ago. As we all know, the India 2.0 programme for Skoda has mostly been centred around Kushaq and Slavia. The Czech carmaker has announced a price hike for both Slavia and Kushaq.
However, Skoda says that the revised prices are effective for a limited time period only. After the latest price update, Kushaq is now priced between Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 18.79 lakh, while Slavia’s price starts at Rs 10.69 lakh and goes up to Rs 18.69 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
Besides the updated prices, Skoda has also changed the names of the variants of both models. Previously, Kushaq and Slavia were offered in trims named Active, Ambition, and Style. And now replaced by variants named Classic, Signature and Prestige, in the same precedence. In addition to this, Skoda continues to offer Monte Carlo and Onyx trims for Kushaq buyers as special edition variants.

Skoda Slavia price update
Previously the base variant of Slavia, i.e. Active, was priced at Rs 11.63 lakh. After the latest update, the entry-level Slavia Classic is now priced at Rs 10.69 lakh, which makes it Rs 94,000 more affordable than before. Interestingly, prices for the rest of the variants have gone up by varying amounts. The biggest hike is the new top-spec 1.0L manual Prestige trim which is Rs 36,000 dearer than the Style 1.0L manual trim. (All prices ex-showroom)

Moreover, the entry-level price of Kushaq has been reduced from Rs 11.99 lakh to Rs 10.89 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
