Skoda unveiled the Enyaq electric SUV in a concept stage back in 2020 before it made its official global debut a year later. The Czech carmaker is now working on a facelifted version of the Enyaq which was recently confirmed when Skoda released a couple of sketches of the updated Enyaq, both in traditional SUV and coupe formats, a couple of days ago.
Skoda Enyaq facelift design
The facelifted Enyaq is evidently based on the Skoda Vision 7S concept which broke cover in 2022. This model follows Skoda’s new Modern Solid design language and incorporates some new styling elements. This includes elements like an illuminated Tech-Deck Face featuring LED Matrix beam headlights, a distinctive new bumper, and the Skoda lettering at the centre.
The standard Enyaq gets a flat roofline with a redesigned rear end featuring sleek C-shaped wraparound taillamps, roof-mounted spoiler with integrated brake lamp, “SKODA” lettering at the centre, and plenty of chrome to accentuate its premium appeal. It is wrapped in exclusive Olibo Green shade. The couple, on the other hand, features sharp lines running across the body, along with a black sharply receding roof, making it more aerodynamic than its sibling.

Both sketches show silver panels along the side skirts and rear bumper which are likely to be replaced by black plastic in the form of cladding when the electric SUVs hit production.
Skoda Enyaq: Expected India launch & specs
Skoda has showcased the pre-facelift Enyaq in India at the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year with an expected launch sometime in 2024. However, with the year about to end, the delay in launch of the Enayq in India is evident. The new Enyaq facelift is expected to make its debut later in 2025. We expect Skoda to bring at least a concept version of the same at the next iteration of the Bharat Mobility Expo in January 2025.
We don’t expect Skoda to make changes to the battery or motor specifications. The India-spec Enyaq is expected to boast a 77kWh (net) battery which promises a range of 513km (WLTP) on a single charge. This battery will supply energy to dual-motor setup producing a combined 261 bhp, to both the axles. The battery can support up to 125 kW of DC fast charging.
As for performance, Skoda claims a 0-100kph time of 6.9 seconds for this version of the electric SUV. When launched in India, it will come to India as a fully-imported CBU model, at least initially. Therefore, it is expected to come with a hefty price tag upwards of Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom).
