Renault has been working on an updated Triber for a very long time. The sub-compact MPV has remained unchanged ever since it was introduced in the market in 2019. Test mules of the Triber facelift have been spotted on several occasions over the past few months. It has now been revealed that Renault will launch the facelifted Triber on July 23.

Besides Triber, Renault Kiger is also gearing up to launch the Kiger sub-compact SUV, however, launch timeline for the same is yet to be disclosed. Coming back to Triber, as discussed in our previous reports, the MPV is expected to receive extensive exterior and interior updates although mechanically it is expected to remain largely the same as the current model.

Renault Triber facelift: Exterior design

As seen in previous spy images, the design of the upcoming Triber undergoes a significant revamp over the outgoing model. The updated Triber adopts a slightly boxier profile than before, lending it a more SUV-like stance. At the front, the facelifted model is expected to sport a refreshed fascia featuring redesigned LED headlamps paired with eyebrow-shaped LED DRLs positioned along the hood’s edge.

These sleeker headlamp clusters are complemented by a completely overhauled front grille and a reprofiled front bumper, enhancing the vehicle’s modern appeal. The new bumper also incorporates repositioned fog lamps for a more cohesive look.

Visuals further reveal a new set of alloy wheels exclusive to the facelifted Triber. At the rear, the updated MPV showcases wraparound LED taillamps and a subtle chrome strip accenting the bumper. The rear bumper itself appears more robust and sculpted compared to the previous iteration. Overall, the design enhancements are consistent with the updates previewed in Renault’s earlier teaser image of the Triber.

Renault Triber facelift: Interiors & Features

Inside the cabin, the updated Triber is expected to receive subtle design upgrades, including a lighter colour palette, the addition of soft-touch materials, and an expanded feature list—reminiscent of the refreshed Nissan Magnite launched last year. In terms of features, it is likely to come equipped with an 8-inch infotainment and a digital instrument panel. Other new additions expected are rain-sensing wipers, auto-headlights, 360-degree cameras, and more.

This engine is offered with two transmission options: a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. However, Renault may also introduce the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine from the Kiger.
