The cases of accidents involving high-end cars are on the rise in India since the past few months. The latest incident involves a Lamborghini Huracan which caused havoc on the streets of Noida on Sunday. The Lamborghini, registered under Puducherry RTO, belongs to YouTuber Mridul Tiwari.
A resident of Supernova in Sector 94, Noida, Tiwari wasn’t driving the car at the time of this incident. The police have apprehended the driver, named Deepak Kumar, a car dealer from Ajmer, who was behind the steering wheel during the time of this accident. The Huracan veered off the road and ploughed into workers sitting on a pavement nearby a construction site.
The injured labourers from Chhattisgarh, were rushed to a nearby hospital and are said to be out of danger. They have suffered a fracture in their legs, police said. Police revealed that Deepak had come to Noida to evaluate the performance of the Lamborghini Huracan which is registered under Mridul’s name. Mridul is a vlogger with 18.7 million followers on YouTube.

“Did anyone die?”, asks driver
A purported video surfaced online showing that after the accident, a man was heard asking the accused if he knew how many people died here. To this, the accused asked the locals if anyone had died or not and came out of the vehicle. As reported by PTI, Bhupendra Singh, in-charge at Sector 126 Police Station said, “In the car accident two labourers were injured and they were from Chhattisgarh. They are out of danger and have fractures in their legs.”
Reports suggest that the YouTuber was considering selling the luxury car and had discussed it with Deepak. During a test drive, Deepak lost control of the vehicle, resulting in an accident. He has since been taken into custody. As Mridul was not behind the wheel, he is unlikely to face any charges.
