The new Ola Roadster motorcycle range is based on the new Gen 3 platform. This architecture will also be utilized by the forthcoming generation of Ola electric scooters. The electric motorcycle comes in three variants: the Roadster X, the Roadster, and the Roadster Pro. We take a look at the top features of the Roadster Pro.
OLA Roadster Pro: Battery Specs
The Roadster Pro comes in two variants: Pro 8 and Pro 16. The Pro 8 is equipped with an 8 kWh battery, delivering 69.7 bhp (52 kW) and 105 Nm of torque, reaching a top speed of 154 kmph. The Pro 16, while maintaining the same power output of 69.7 bhp (52 kW), boasts a 16 kWh battery, achieving 0-40 km/h in just 1.2 seconds. Additionally, the Roadster Pro accelerates from 0-60 km/h in 1.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 194 kmph.
OLA Roadster Pro: Charging and Range
The Roadster Pro 8 can be charged from 0-100 per cent in 7.5 hours with a 2.2 kW home charger. According to Ola, the Pro offers a range of 579 km. The top-of-the-line Pro 16 takes 3.7 hours to juice 0-100 per cent with a 2.2 kW home charger. Ola claims that the Pro 16 returns a range of 316 km.
OLA Roadster Pro: Features and Price
Ola has equipped both Pro variants with top-of-the-line features such as hill hold and descent control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a 10-inch TFT touchscreen, and a navigation system. Each trim offers four ride modes: Hyper, Sports, Normal, and Eco. The new MoveOS will endow the electric motorcycle with ADAS, three braking modes — Race, Urban, and Rain, as well as wheelie and stoppie prevention, advanced traction control, temperature-controlled seats and handle grips. Ola has stated that deliveries of the Roadster Pro will commence in January 2026. The Pro 8 is priced at Rs 2 lakh, while the Pro 16 is available for Rs 2.50 lakh, both as introductory offers.
