After sharing three teasers on social media, Nissan has launched the Kuro Edition of Magnite. The Kuro Edition makes a return with the facelifted Magnite which was launched in December 2024. Nissan had first launched the Kuro Edition with the pre-facelifted Magnite in 2023 which came with blacked-out aesthetics.
With prices starting at Rs 8.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Kuro Special Edition embodies the company’s Boldest Black philosophy with a blacked-out exterior and interior. Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition: Exterior & Interior highlights
As seen in the pre-facelift Magnite Kuro, the new iteration of the special edition model gets an all-black exterior with highlights such as a black paint scheme, piano black front grille, resin black front and rear skid plates, gloss black roof rails, black 16-inch Diamond Cut Alloy wheels, and black door handles. In addition, the Kuro Edition comes with signature black LED headlamps with Lightsaber turn indicator as standard.
Inside the cabin, the Kuro Edition of Magnite wears a black theme featuring midnight themed dashboard, piano black finished gear shift garnish, piano black finished steering insert, sun visors and door trims. Besides aesthetics, the Magnite Kuro Edition also receives feature upgrades such as Sable Black wireless charger as standard and a stealth dash cam as an accessory.
Other features include a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, connected car tech, height-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control,an electric sunroof, 360-degree camera, and more. Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with camera, hill start assist, and traction control along with tyre pressure monitoring system.
Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition: Powertrain
Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition is offered with engine options: a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated unit and a 1.0-litre turbocharged unit. The former pushes out 71 bhp and 96 Nm of peak torque. This motor can be had with either a five-speed MT or a five-speed AMT. The turbo petrol unit makes 99bhp and a peak torque of 160 Nm (152 Nm in AT). This engine is available with either a six-speed manual or a CVT automatic.
