The Nissan Magnite helped the company turn its fortunes around and is currently the only vehicle on sale. However, competition in this segment is tough and Nissan’s strategy of launching multiple editions of the Magnite has helped. However, the company has plans to rejig its lineup with the introduction of an AMT gearbox.

Nissan Magnite AMT vs Hyundai Exter AMT: Design

The Nissan Magnite AMT is based on the same platform as the current Magnite and features a large grille with sleek headlights. The front grille is unique with large chrome accents on both sides, while the muscular bonnet and flared wheel arches add to the overall sportiness of the Magnite.

The Hyundai Exter is based on the Grand i10’s platform and features a more squarish design compared to the Magnite. The Exter gets unique ‘H’ shaped DRLs with flared wheel arches, giving the vehicle a boxy, but muscular design.

In terms of features, the Magnite AMT gets LED headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, an 8-inch floating infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, voice command, cruise control, and a 7-inch TFT instrument display. Safety includes dual airbags, parking sensors, traction control, hill start assist, rearview camera, and ISOFIX seat anchors amongst others.

The Hyundai Exter on the other hand, gets similar features such as LED headlights, 15-inch alloy wheels, metal pedals to up the sportiness of the vehicle, an 8-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, an electric roof, paddle shifters, cruise control, and rear AC vents. Safety includes side and curtain airbags, traction control, stability control, and more.

Both vehicles are powered by naturally aspirated engines, however, they have different configurations.
