Hyundai is poised to bolster its presence in the mid-size SUV segment by launching the all-electric Creta early next year. Recent spy shots of the new EV SUV have unveiled fresh insights into its interior design. The Creta EV is set to compete with the Tata Curvv EV, Maruti Suzuki eVX, MG ZS EV, and the Mahindra BE.05. Below is everything we have gathered about the Creta EV thus far.
Hyundai Creta EV: New Cabin details
The cabin layout is similar to the Creta ICE though the new EV SUV sports a new three-spoke steering wheel instead of the flat bottom one. There is a possibility that the EV will get a stalk drive selector behind the steering wheel instead of being positioned at the centre console. Another update is that the upholstery gets a Creta electric motif. The dashboard houses a curved twin 10.25-inch display including the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. Being an EV, it is expected to introduce some new features.Â

Hyundai Creta EV: Battery
The Creta EV is expected to be powered by a 45-kWh battery. Based on an Autocar India report, the Creta EV will get the new Kona’s entry-level battery pack with an output of 135 bhp and 255 Nm of torque. Currently, there is no official confirmation on the driving range, but the Creta EV could offer around 300 — 350 km range in real-world conditions.Â
Hyundai Creta EV: Features
The Creta EV is expected to be fully loaded with features like those of its ICE siblings. It will be equipped with Level 2 ADAS, connected tech, Home-to-Car with Alexa function that allows the owner to switch on the SUV’s AC from home, multiple USB charging ports, dual-zone climate control, voice-enabled panoramic sunroof and a premium Bose music system.Â
