The new Maruti Suzuki Swift created a lot of buzz ahead of its launch and now, the hatchback is on sale in India, priced at Rs 6.49 lakh onwards, ex-showroom. Moving on to the Tata Altroz, the hatchback gets projector headlamps, LED DRLs, and 16-inch alloy wheels, giving the AAltroz a sporty look. When compared, The Altroz is larger as it competes with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, but features a much more sportier design compared to the Swift.
Inside, the Altroz gets a digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch infotainment system that will soon get an upgrade to a 10-inch unit, connected car tech, smartphone connectivity, cruise control, and even an electric sunroof with voice activation. Safety-wise, the Altroz is rated five stars by GNCAP, making it the safest hatchback in India right now.
