JSW MG Motor India today announced that MG Windsor has crossed the production milestone of 15,000 units. Since its launch in October 2024, the battery-powered CUV has emerged as the highest-selling EV for the fourth month in a row. As per Vahaan, the company has managed to sell over 13,000 units till date.
Every month since it went on sale, the Windsor has recorded a sale of over 3000 months. The electric crossover received over 15,176 bookings within 24 hours of its launch, which was one of the highest ever for any EV in India. MG claims that demand for Windsor is still strong, with approximately 200 bookings each day.
Speaking on the occasion, Biju Balendran, Deputy Managing Director, JSW MG Motor India said, “We are delighted with the response that the MG Windsor has been receiving and are grateful to our customers who have helped us cross the 15,000-unit production milestone. The CUV has been widely accepted by car buyers for its overall pricing and packaging, and for offering a luxurious business-class experience to customers.”

MG Windsor EV: Price
MG Windsor EV is available in three variants: Excite, Exclusive and Essence. It can be purchased in two ways: with battery and without battery. Prices for Windsor start at Rs 14 lakh with the battery as a single unit whereas with the battery as a service (BaaS) module the Windsor costs Rs 9.99 lakh up front along with the battery rental of Rs 3.9 km per month.

MG Windsor EV: Powertrain specs
Powering MG Windsor EV is a permanent magnet synchronous motor paired which is tuned to deliver 134 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. This motor is paired with a 38kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery that promises a range of 332km on a single charge. There are four drive modes on offer: Eco+, Eco, Normal and Sport. The battery supports a 45 kW fast charger, which fills the battery from 0 to 80 percent in 55 minutes.
