JSW MG Motor has launched the Cyberster at an attractive price of Rs 74.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s the second fully-imported CBU model to be launched by the company after the MG M9 that was launched earlier this week. Like the luxury electric MPV, the Cyberster is exclusively available in the MG Select dealerships.

Pre-bookings for the same commenced earlier in March this year at a token amount of Rs 51,000. Customers who have already pre-booked the car, have to pay Rs 72.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Units of the Cyberster have already started reaching dealerships a few weeks ago. Deliveries of MG Cyberster will commence from 10 August 2025.

MG Cyberster: Design

Inspired by the iconic 1960s MGB Roadster, the Cyberster combines classic charm with a low-slung stance, a long hood, and modern aerodynamic lines. Its standout feature is a pair of scissor doors, evoking the golden age of supercars. Enhancing its visual appeal, the convertible features a retractable hardtop and bold 20-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, sleek connected LED tail lights with arrow-shaped indicators add a contemporary edge.

The Cyberster is available in four dual-tone exterior colour options namely Nuclear Yellow with Black Roof, Flare Red with Black Roof, Andes Grey with Red Roof, and Modern Beige with Red Roof.

The Cyberster’s cabin is driver-focused and packed with tech, featuring a high-tech cockpit with three digital displays — a central 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen flanked by two 7-inch screens. The convertible roadster comes fully loaded with features like an 8-speaker Bose sound system, 6-way power-adjustable seats, 4-way adjustable steering, premium leather upholstery, two USB ports, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice commands, and a retractable roof that opens or closes in just 15 seconds.

On the safety front, it offers a full suite of Level 2 ADAS features including lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, and collision warning. Additional highlights include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, traction control, ESP, blind spot monitoring, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. 

MG Cyberster: Battery, Motor, Range, & Charging

MG Cyberster comes with a dual-motor, all-wheel drive setup The combined output from this dual-motor setup is 504 bhp and 725 Nm of peak torque. There are four drive modes on offer: Comfort, Custom, Sport and Track. The dual-motor setup derives the energy from a 77 kWh battery pack which MG claims to be the thinnest at 110mm. This battery claims a range of 580 km on a single charge.

MG is offering a 3.3 kW portable charger, 7.4 kW wall box charger, and installation as standard. Earlier this year, the Cyberster grabbed eyeballs for its stupendous performance. The electric roadster broke the record of the fastest 0 to 100 kmph acceleration on Indian soil in just 3.2 seconds, thus registering itself in India Book Of Records and Asia Book Of Records. 

MG has backed the Cyberster’s performance with superior safety. Stopping duties are carried out by Brembo 4-piston front brake callipers that can bring the vehicle to a stop from 100 kmph in just 33 metre. A high-strength H-shaped full cradle structure and Static Stability Factor (SSF) of 1.83 ensure best-in-class rollover resistance. The addition of an electronic differential lock lets the driver have some fun while drifting.
