Mercedes-Benz has launched the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series in India at Rs 4.2 crore, ex-showroom. It is the new flagship model in Mercedes’ roadster lineup. India is allotted three units of this open-top two-seater for 2025 and the deliveries will begin from Q1 of 2026.
Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram: Design
Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram is available in two colour options — Red Ambience and White Ambience. The SL stands out with its unique Maybach-patterned bonnet and a distinctive chrome grille with an upright star emblem. To add more flair to it, the headlight gets golden inserts and an illuminated Maybach grille. The SL 680 gets plenty of chrome finished parts like the door handles and the front and rear bumpers.

The cabin has a white Nappa leather interior with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, a leather-wrapped iconic Maybach-style steering wheel, specially crafted pedals with Maybach insignia and an 11.9-inch vertically shaped infotainment system. The ambient lights are merged inside the dashboard and door panels. The seats feature a new Maybach stitching design.

Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram is powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 powertrain with an output of 577bhp at 5,500 – 6,500 rpm and 800 Nm at 2,500 – 5,000 rpm. According to Mercedes-Benz, Maybach SL 680 does 0 – 100 kmph in 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 260 kmph. It is all-wheel drive and is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
