One of the best-selling model ranges in the luxury segment in India, Mercedes Benz has updated the C-Class. The German marque continues to offer the updated C-Class in three trims— C200, C200d, and the new C300 AMG Line replacing the older diesel-powered C300d AMG Line. The petrol-powered C300 AMG Line is priced at Rs 69 lakh.
The other two trims— C200 and C200d— are priced at Rs 61.85 lakh and Rs 62.85 lakh (all ex-showroom), respectively. Besides, the regular C-Class Mercedes also offers the full-fledged, performance-oriented C43 AMG which is priced at Rs 98.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mercedes Benz C300 AMG Line: What’s new?
As expected, the exterior of the C300 AMG Line gets spruced courtesy of sportier elements such as revised front and rear bumpers, and the signature AMG Line front grille with 3D effects. Mercedes is also offering the C300 AMG Line with Manufaktur colour options including Patagonia red bright and Sodalite Blue.

Inside the cabin, the C300 AMG Line gets the ‘Night Package’ as a standard offering, giving it a blacked-out treatment. When it comes to features, the C300 AMG Line gets creature comforts such as a Burmester 3D surround sound system, digital lights, augmented reality navigation, blind spot assist and keyless-go comfort package.
Powering the C300 AMG Line is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. that produces 255 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. The engine features an integrated starter generator (ISG) that provides an additional output of 22 bhp and 205 Nm, and an overboost function that provides 27 bhp of additional power for approximately 30 seconds.

The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. As for performance, Mercedes claims a 0-100 kmph sprint time of 6 seconds and a top speed of 250 kmph.
Mercedes Benz C200, C200d, & GLC: New features
Besides the new C300 AMG Line, Mercedes Benz has also updated the rest of the C Class lineup. This includes the addition of features such as heated and ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, six fast-charging USB-C ports and adaptive high beam assist.

The German luxury carmaker has also updated the GLC, its highest-selling SUV in India, with some new features including heated and ventilated front seats, and new side rear airbags, taking the total airbag count to nine. As a result, prices of the GLC have been revised. Available in two trims, the GLC 300 4Matic is priced at Rs 75.90 lakh, whereas the GLC 200d is priced at Rs 76.90 lakh (both ex-showroom).
