German carmaker, Mercedes-Benz’s AMG division has launched the C43 4MATIC priced at Rs 74.35 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The Mercedes-AMG C43 4MATIC is the 13th product and third AMG model launched in 2016, after GLE 43 AMG coupe and the SLC 43 AMG. The new C43 AMG 4MATIC is positioned between the C-Class and the C63 AMG and replaces the C450 AMG and coupe has been introduced as a CBU (Completely Built Unit).
The C43 AMG is powered by a 3.0 litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine that develops 367 hp of power between 5,500 to 6,000 rpm and 520 Nm of torque between 2,000 to 4,200 rpm. This power is sent to all wheels via the 9-speed 9GTRONIC automatic gearbox. Although the car has the company’s 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system, it has a rear-biased setup with 69 percent of power being sent to the rear wheels. The C43 4MATIC does 0 to 100 kmph in 4.7 seconds and has an electronically-limited top speed of 250 kmph.
For better driving dynamics, Mercedes-AMG has also equipped the new coupe with AMG DYNAMIC SELECT driving modes with Eco, Comfort, Sport and Sport Plus and it is a performance-oriented version of the standard C-Class sedan. The C43 4MATIC AMG features a diamond-shaped radiator grille, 18-inch AMG-specific alloy wheels and revised bumpers. The rear will boast of big wraparound tail lamps and dual exhaust pipes.

Inside the Mercedes-Benz C43 4MATIC AMG, it gets an all-black theme, contrasting stitching, metal inserts on the door panels and a flat bottom multi-function steering wheel and paddle shifters. The coupe will also feature an AMG instrument cluster with a chequered flag design, AMG RIDE CONTROL, three-stage ESP (Electronic Stability Program) and Eco Start-stop function. Other safety features include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist and traction control.
