Maruti Suzuki often comes with some kind of offers on its vehicles. The Indo-Japanese brand is the highest-selling carmaker in India with almost 42-43 percent market share in the passenger vehicle market. The company is offering discounts and benefits on nearly the entire Arena range of models.
According to Autocar India, Maruti Suzuki is offering cash discounts or exchange and loyalty bonuses, or a scrappage scheme on the entire Arena range of models, barring Ertiga, for the month of May 2025. Let us take a look at each of them.
Maruti Suzuki Arena discounts for May 2025
1. Maruti Wagon R
Discount: Up to Rs 68,000
Maruti is offering discounts of up to Rs 68,000 on the AMT variants of the Wagon R, available with both 1.0-litre and 1.2-litre petrol engines. Manual and CNG variants come with slightly lower benefits of up to Rs 63,000. Priced between Rs 5.79 lakh and Rs 7.62 lakh, the Wagon R continues to be a popular tall-boy hatchback in the budget segment, competing directly with the Tata Tiago.
2. Maruti Celerio
Discount: Up to ₹68,000
This month, the Celerio AMT variants are also eligible for discounts of up to Rs 68,000, while the manual and CNG versions receive benefits up to Rs 63,000. Sharing its 66 bhp, 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with the Wagon R, the Celerio was recently updated with six airbags, accompanied by a Rs 32,000 price increase. It is currently priced between Rs 5.64 lakh and Rs 7.37 lakh and competes with the Tata Tiago.
3. Maruti Alto K10
Discount: Up to ₹68,000
The Alto K10 AMT variants get discounts up to Rs 68,000, while manual and CNG variants are being offered with benefits of up to Rs 63,000. Priced between Rs 4.23 lakh and Rs 6.21 lakh, the Alto K10 remains India’s most affordable car. It features a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder engine delivering 66 bhp on petrol and 56 bhp on CNG, and now also comes with six airbags as standard.
4. Maruti S-Presso
Discount: Up to ₹63,000
Slightly lower discounts are available on the S-Presso, with AMT variants offering benefits of up to Rs 63,000. Powered by the same 1.0-litre, three-cylinder engine as the Alto K10, this compact tall-boy hatch is priced between Rs 4.27 lakh and Rs 6.12 lakh.
5. Maruti Swift
Discount: Up to ₹53,000
The Swift AMT variants receive benefits of up to Rs 53,000 this month, while the manual and CNG versions get up to Rs 48,000 off. Equipped with an 81 bhp, 1.2-litre Z Series engine, the Swift is praised for its sporty handling and light controls. Fuel efficiency figures are impressive—25.75 kmpl on petrol and 31.38 km/kg on CNG.
6. Maruti Brezza
Discount: Up to Rs 35,000
Buyers of the top-spec Brezza ZXI and ZXI+ trims can avail discounts up to Rs 35,000, which includes a Rs 10,000 cash discount. Lower variants are eligible for up to Rs 25,000 in exchange or scrappage bonuses. The Brezza, priced between Rs 8.69 lakh and Rs 14.14 lakh, comes with a 102 bhp, 1.5-litre petrol engine and is offered in manual, automatic, and CNG options. Notably, it’s the first model to roll out from Maruti’s new Kharkhoda plant in Haryana.
7. Maruti Dzire
Discount: Up to Rs 25,000
The newly launched fourth-gen Dzire compact sedan doesn’t get any cash discounts, but buyers can benefit from an exchange or scrappage bonus of up to Rs 25,000. It shares its engine and underpinnings with the Swift and is priced slightly higher, between Rs 6.84 lakh and Rs 10.19 lakh. The Dzire competes with the Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura, the latter offering higher discounts of up to Rs 65,000 this month.
