Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch its first electric vehicle (EV) in the market in the form of e Vitara. After making its official debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year, the e Vitara will soon hit the Indian roads in the coming weeks. Bookings for the same opened a couple of months ago.
Units of the battery-powered mid-size SUV have already started reaching Nexa dealerships across the country. With the market launch just around the corner, Maruti continues testing the e Vitara. Recent spy shots have emerged online which reportedly have been clicked just outside Rashtrapati Niwas / Presidential Retreat at Mashobra in Himachal Pradesh.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara: Design & Colour options
Despite all major details revealed, except the prices, the latest test mule seen in the spy images are wrapped completely under a camouflage. However, the design of the e Vitara is unmistakable. Its side profile showcases pronounced wheel arches, while the rear passenger door handles are seamlessly integrated into the C-pillar. The arches are filled by 18-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels. The tailgate is adorned with a silver-finished Suzuki logo and an e Vitara badge.
Maruti will offer the e Vitara in as many as 10 colour options: 6 mono-tone and 4 dual-tone. The mono-tone shades include Nexa Blue, Grandeur Grey, Splendid Silver, Arctic White, Opulent Red, and Bluish Black. The dual-tone colour options include Arctic White with Bluish Black Roof, Opulent Red with Bluish Black Roof, Splendid Silver with Bluish Black Roof, and Land Breeze Green with Bluish Black Roof.
