India’s most successful MPV, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, has received a price hike, effective immediately from this month. The Eritga is available in four variants — LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI Plus. We take a closer look at the price differences after the recent hike.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga price hike
Maruti Suzuki has not officially commented on the reasons behind the Ertiga price hike, but the three-row MPV now costs dearer by at least Rs 10,000. The entry-level LXI (O) variant receives the highest price increase by Rs 15,000. Hence, the Ertiga now starts from Rs 8.84 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. The remaining variants geta a uniform hike of Rs 10,000.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga: Specifications
The Eritga is available in two powertrain options — the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and CNG. The petrol version makes 101.6 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 136.8 Nm at 4400 rpm. It is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter. The CNG model produces 86.6 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 121.5 Nm at 4,200 rpm with a 5-speed manual transmission.
